I said they should put it up for adoption. That's not tossing mistakes on the state, lol! I have at least 30 friends who have adopted babies and a handful of friends who have either given their baby up for adoption or have daughters/sons who have. NONE even went through any government agency, let alone be "tossed" on the state.

If you're so worried about this kid "tossing" his mistake on the state, wanna bet how fast the government will be involved in raising it in the form of DFACS, welfare, food stamps, and probably child support recovery? And that's just the beginning.

I finished college with a 4.01 average and my GF is almost done with a 3.9 average. We are both intellegent people. We are now 21 with a 2 year old daughter. I have a Job that supports my family.

His life is not over, just start making choices that count. Step up a be a father. You wouldn't regret it. Life will get harder but after the first year it gets easier. For me life got easier after the first year because my daughter was born healthy, slept through the night etc.... So if you want to do something useful start taking care and responsibility for the unborn child now.

I'd like to see some of the people who are posting negative shit in real life so that I could just see the kind of useless fucks live on this earth.

I was the identical situation, I had to beg her to have all 3 of my kids. We were sucking wind back then, I was making like 15k per year doing manual labor etc.. I worked my ass off, taught myself computers / system administration / unix / networking / etc...

I now have 3 very smart, well adjusted kids in the world. Every time we go to resturants strangers stop at our table to compliment how well behaved the kids are.
