I've worn glasses for 20 years. Not so bad I guess. I have a stigmatism, so it is a bit frustrating. But look on the positve side. When you wear glasses, you are automatically assumed to be the techie, nerd, person in the know when standing with your friends in social places.
Guess people just are programmed with that as a kid, the whole geek and glasses thing. So they automatically seem to think you know everything about everything. I remember when I worked in telco, I've go along with other sales people, and everytime some techie question would come up, the customer would look to me for the answer, like I was an engineer or something. Funny.
Bad parts off the top of my head.. if you live where it rains, you had better get an umbrella, or learn the duck your head technique to keep glasses dry. Also when you are having sex, they tend to get smudged.
