    Internext = Is Florida Location Played Out?

    Over the last three years the Summer Internext has been in the same location. Great place....but I remember the first year the out door Playersball had to be moved in because of the rain....now there are two hurricanes in Florida this time around.

    Think they should consider moving the show somewhere else?

    What is the use going to a beach resort area when the weather this time of the year seems to be like this.....oh....and this resort has no fucking beach either. lol.

    What's your take?

    Where would you like to see the summer show go next?

    I missed New Orleans show a few years ago...would love to do that....but maybe similar weather this time of the year??? I don't know ? ? ?

      yup I totally agree..they need to bring it to a new location for a change of pace. I'm sure there are alots of beautiful places that we could takeover with less humidity and rain.

                                  I think Miami in August is pretty crazy anyway. Why not some place more northern? New England, Seattle, I would suggest Chicago but it would be just as bad.

                                              Why do you think AVN gets a great rate to do this show in August? Because nobody else would be dumb enough to plan a show in August in Miami. More $ for AVN.

                                              How much of the $10 drinks end up in AVN's pockets? Webmasters need to wake up and realize whose pockets they are lining. AVN is not your friend.

                                                                                          why not somewhere more central like chicago? i never been there but i know it's central (airline-wise) and would be closer for canadians too wouldnt it?


                                                                                          as long as it's in florida we'll never attend again - no sense spending over $5000 on tickets and flying nearly 24 hours only to get stuck somewhere in the US with no connecting flight into FA

                                                                                                              You are right about it always seem like it is raining.

                                                                                                              I think the year before Florida the summer show was also in Vegas.....it was like 115 degrees out side that summmer....fucking hot as shit.....wasn't cool....and the venue was way too big for the summer crowd (smaller than winter show).

                                                                                                              I also like the west coast/east coast concept....many trade shows in general do that.....keep in mind that travel is a mother fucker for people overseas....so one of the other makes it worthwhile.....having it in one part of the US will not only make it boring, but also make people question if they want to go or not.

                                                                                                              LA would be cool though....love the town...can never get enough of it.


                                                                                                              Why not Washington DC on an election year....would be great to see how we could tear up the town.....lot of PR would come out of it. lol. jk. ;)

                                                                                                                                  New orleans wouldn't be much better this time of year, hurricane Bonnie almost made it that far, and this time of the year anthing on the gulf has the potential for a major storm. The hurricanes didn't hit Miami, everything has been okay (a little windy, but everything is good).

                                                                                                                                  There are many good places to have shows in theory, but few hotels with convention space are willing to accept adult (porn) shows, and rarely will they allow an effective full hotel take over.

                                                                                                                                  San Diego, from everything I read, was a great show, a good time of the year, and everyone enjoyed it. I hope there is another one next year, I won't miss it!

                                                                                                                                  Internext feels more quiet this year... but there is a ton of business getting done, which in reality is the idea, no?
