Maybe you take these kids comments about "War of the Worlds" seriously. If you do, you'll be wasting a good theater ticket. The absolute best part of the movie is.......the popcorn and coke!
Whatever Cruise had in his other movies, he evidently left at home when he skipped out to make this one. It's boring and too damned focused on "him." Even so, Dakota Fanning is the show stealer.
No, save your money, buy some microwave popcorn and a bottle of coke and rent the 50s version with Gene Barry. It's much, much better.
