Aug. 11 - Rep. Porter Goss, President Bush?s nominee to head the CIA, recently introduced legislation that would give the president new authority to direct CIA agents to conduct law-enforcement operations inside the United States?including arresting American citizens.

To me it's starting to sound like that guy that claims he's travelled back in time isn't so far off from the truth. Maybe Bush should read up on it & take a hint.

No. The CIA is banned from conducting operations within the US. This actually pretty serious. The purpose of the CIA is to gather intelligence, NOT investigate. We have the FBI for that. What i found funny about that was, I was watching the Daily show and it showed Bush being interviewed about someone they had just showed a clip of him with! He said that he didn't recall meeting him and that he just saw him in a line of people. How crazy is that
