We have a much better educational system then the US, and we would much rather spend the rest of our money on something other then military.
The US is so dominant because of their military. "Mess with us and we'll bomb your third world asses"... that sure says alot... go after places like Iraq (By the way, the chemical weapons Sadam Housain used to murder all those innocent people we sold to him by the United States), but leave all the countries that could be a formidable opponent alone..

The two greatest crimes in recorded history where the holocaust and the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.. Only one was punished. --> that just shows that no-one would dare tell the united states not to do something morally wrong, because they know they would instantly become an enemy of the US..
See, with the US, if you don't show your support (most of the support, by the way, isn't there because the "supporters" want it to be, but because they have no other choice) for whatever bogus cause they are going after, you are immediatly a "hater" and an "enemy".
Personally, I hate being next to the United States, with all bullshit that they bring on themselves, it's only natural that some of it filters into Canada.
