    My ICQ took a shit, what is the Best version of ICQ?

    So I come in todya nd load up my pc and notice all my contacts are offline. I disconect and reconnect and the contacts all disapear. So i back up my icq dbx files and unistall icq 2000b and install the latest ICQ 4. Problem is Im missing alot of contacts and all my history and this thing is full of banners and all kinds of annoying shit. So I decide to chuck this version and ask around to see what else everyone else is using and what is the least annoying and stable as far as ICQ versions go.


    I punched older icq versions in google came up with this http://www.icq-4u.com/?pid=files ....
    All those choices, it doesnt solve my problem just yet tho lol


    So what version are you using?

                      i just installed 2000a and all my contacts are sepereated in to groups!

                          ICQ 4's interface sux, and those ad ons seems useless.... i recomend ichat from Mac..
                          SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

                              I got sick of upgrading it, losing contacts and having more crap and stuff that didn't work so I stuck with 2001b and I got a crack that removes the ads and enables a few kool things IP's etc its really stable
