        no one is denying you anything. marriage is defined as being a union between man and woman.., and many states have civil unions which afford you the same legal rights as a heterosexual couple. do something about the states that don't... or move.

            In places where there are recognized civil unions, what the fuck is a gay man being denied " ... that other citizens of this country are getting ..."? A gay man is free to marry a woman (gay or straight I might add) just as a straight man is allowed to. Neither a gay nor a straight man may marry another man.

                                                                b) Civil Union - A union between any two people of either sex. Male/Female, Male/Male, Female/Female. Does not have a religious background .. not recognized in a "house of god".

                                                                Under the law .. they should both have the same status.

Just doesn't work that way and weren't designed to work that way. they want to live together fine. they love each other. Awesme. I'm happy they are happy. They want to make a mockery of something sacred like marriage? Fuck that noise. it's bad enough they want to be flamboyant and get in my face everytime gay pride aparades come to town... now they want to completely change teh way pairing up happens...

But I do get a kick out of reading all the reasons given by people against gay marriage.
