Does the domain extension make any difference as far as the SEs are concerned?

it's cheaper to buy (say) 50 .infos than 50 .coms
I have one info domain that was getting around 100 or so Google hits a day for 5-6 months, so what do you guys think/know - share or I'll have to spank you

it's actually quite simple, you get say 50 domains, a year from now you see which ones of them get SE traffic and renew them, the rest you let expire

if you use .infos you'll pay $150.00 for the domains, if you use .coms you'll pay $450.00

Not as far as I know... there has been talk that Google rates some extensions less than others but I'm not buying it.

You can only do well with .go and .ya domains.
              All the rest is crap.

Look for the results that come up under popular searches, what domain extensions do you see?

you see .coms which are the most registered extensions, that doesn't answer my question
