I know a lot of it has to do with the women in Africa being raped... but for the ones that have a choice, they need to enforce population control. So many children wouldn't starve to death if they weren't born to begin with.

Poor countries in Africa rely heavily on assistance and support by non-profit organizations, not only for food, but for health and education as well. The 'highly enlightened' US government has pressured these agencies that provide aid, controling the message they are allowed to teach regarding birth control and sexual health - forcing them to preach an 'abstinence-only' platform. Not only effecting the birth rate in a negative way, but the spread of HIV/AIDS as well.

To suggest that 'moving to where there's more food' is the simple fix to an entire continent's social, economic, and cultural issues is such a monumentally ignorant statement.
