Bottom line.... get shit done before you need it instead of freakin out..... I placed my order with DrDre weeks before I needed it which gave me time to deal with anything that could happen. If I was him and had a 1k job for a paysite to do and a 200 dollar business card deal on my plate, I would please the 1k job first and work extra to get the smaller jobs done.
You can't blame shipping issues on a designer if he has done everything he can.
Plan ahead and this issue would never have happened.

2nd : I work with my graphist a lot . Spend couple hours working things out and I DO often modifications and sometimes full design (I did medium pimpin card design and some others).

Come on, the damage was already done. Not saying anything didn't help thim. I understand that some things should not be discussed on a public message board but when your reputation is at risk or even your business, posting a professional short statement on the board is the best thing to do.

Honestly I don't remember if it happened to recommend Dre here (I remember doing that over icq). I know he is truly a good guy and there was no chance to even make a reference to him if I believed it's somehow possible to see him scamming people left and right.
I never had a problem with him over a business issue and beside these two or so events we all read here in the past, which seems to had a valid excuse, none of the people I know had any problem with him or his work.
GFY is great tool to do business, but nothing (mistake, delay, error) is tolerated from the majority of members. Personally I try to handle these things outside gfy and bringing things here is always the last stand.
Webmasters endorse others for various reasons. Knowing someone is good to do a task and I'm confident he won't scam anyone, is enough for me to recommend him as a possible option. I do it only to assist the party seeking for something and for no other reason. Others do it in order to show they know a lot of people in this business, for a refferal % etc.Comment

I have been fucked over by cc processors that have lost their merchant accounts (which resulted in me losing 2500 recurring members), hosting companys that have lost their backbone ( which resulted in my sites being down for weeks while I find and upload my sites to a new server), affiliate programs that I have sent traffic to that have fucked me over to the tune of 25K for one month, etc.....
This is a volatile business we are in and if all my "eggs" were in one "basket" I would have been dead in this industry long ago.

Come on, the damage was already done. Not saying anything didn't help thim. I understand that some things should not be discussed on a public message board but when your reputation is at risk or even your business, posting a professional short statement on the board is the best thing to do.
It's not like everyone is living under a rock. It's a new way to make business now. With internet and especially if someone is doing business on GFY you have to learn how to deal with those situations and fast.

Not tryin to stir stuff up here but if my memory is correct i saw a thread yesterday were juicy was calling out Doctor Dre to reach juicy but Doctor Dre's reply was" i will hit you up im going to sleep now" or something along those line.now by looking at this thread it looks like he still has not contacted juicy before this thread was started. My question is was that thread related to this one? correct me if i am wrong on this
