Follow the oil..... Sitting in Iraq puts almost all the oil in the region under the thumb of the US... Bush has already publicly commented on Venezuela harbouring "terrorists" except that nobody really noticed... Oil companies (US included) are investing heavily in our Canadian oil sands to try and get the production costs of extracting the oil less expensive than it is.. Most of the time Canada doesn't show up on these top 10 lists because they don't include the oil sands. But I believe this one does..

In a couple more decades, we'll all be kising Alberta's ass.. Course, that also makes them a prime resource target for any sort of WW.
