    New Dedicated Server, Where to Get ?

    Hi,

    First, i would have used the search function had it been enabled.

    I currently have a 1.7GHz celeron with 1gb of RAM and dual 80gb ide hdd's at hostdime, this server is no longer enough for my galleries (not even close actually, it cant handle the load they tell me, can i have some of you gallery submitters setups please, im mostly using picture galleries, but this night i had a pic gallery on the hun again, and the service monitor keeps emailing me apacheservice failed, restart attempted... grrr... so i asked the admins and they told me it was my server whcih wasnt good enough.. ?)

    ive been offered a dual 2.4 xeon (HT) with 3TB of traffic (both 2TB in and 3 TB out) each month for $310 at hostdime.

    i have some requirements for this host,

    dual dedicated xeons (with HT) or dual opterons
    managed services (fully!)
    adult content allowed
    WHM/Cpanel
    3TB of monthly data transer at least, with option of expansion (currently paying $35/1TB expansions)

    i think thats just about it, i want to see whats on the market.... also what are you guys hosting your galleries on ?

              The exact package you want is available there, plus an upgrade to 100Mbps connection for only $10/month. I've been with them a while and they're awesome. 1500GB bandwidth standard on the servers you're looking for, but I know upgrades are available.

                  Sounds like the host you are currently with is having a problem managing your server. Hit me up on icq at 36837470 and I will set you up with a fully managed server at lower than whats listed on our website. We'll have you pushing easily 25+ Mbps on one server (7500GB).

                      It does sound like they're mismanaging the server. Even that hardware should be able to handle 10 megabit. Nonetheless, we have a 10 megabit special, uncapped, for $599 on excellent hardware. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you want to discuss your needs further!

                                                                                  If you want to get some oversold, or lower end bandwidth, which correlates with the lower end service you will get - That is your perogative.
                                                                                  Maybe you should sign up and see what worry-free hosting is all about.

                                                                                      $800 is very reasonable for a fully managed non oversold quality network.
