i went to the computer store to get a gigs worth of ram yesterday. fucking bizarre day.

                  1. i got in there, a security guard walked up to me.
"excuse me mate, we don't allow bags in the store. if you could give it to me, i'd go put it in the security office and you can pick it up on the way out".

now usually, i'd wonder what the fuck he was doing or whether he was going to rummage through the bag or plant something in there. but it was empty anyway, and after making sure, i gave it to him. bizarre... never happened before.

                  2. i approached a guy to ask where the memory was located.
"uh... sorry, i'd tell you but i don't work here..."
ASSHOLE! he really really looked like he worked there. i mean... same colour shirt and all. really. i wouldn't have asked if i wouldn't have thought he worked there. fucking set up. and embarassing.

                  3. turns out they didn't have the memory that i wanted
                  they had 128 and 256.
i wanted 512, twice. FUCKING ASSSSSSSHOLES!

                  what a shitty day.

so, to answer your question... i think it is safer to buy online.

                  try pricewatch.com ;)
