It's the awesome, always obliging service. Everyday I get so many nice emails, have good ICQ Talks with e.g. my hoster and always when I go out to dinner whem I'm in a restaurant in America, I feel like a king being served that submissive. That's the way it should be in Europe too!
Do you know what I like most about the US?

Yep, whenever I come back from the US to Europe I have the feeling most waiters and waitresses are in a bad mood... it takes some time to realize that they're like that most of the time.Originally posted by Goose

It's even worse when I come back from Japan. The service overthere is just incredible and you're not even allowed to tip them

wow not even tipping them? Well I know that the good service in the US is based on tipping, though I don't mind, as long as people are friendly to me. But japanese people do it even without receiving tipping? Wow...I'm impressed!Originally posted by J B

It's considered rude to tip in Japan. You just never tip, not in restaurants, not in hotels, etc... But then, they don't depend on tip because their salary is usually not that bad.Originally posted by Goose

I'll admit that the only time I've been out of the States was to go to Cancun. The people there seemed nice but maybe it was only because it's a tourist area. I'm interested to see how waiters and such are in other countries since I'm used to them being polite.PHAT SERVERS - Quality dedicated hosting at a quality price!

I really enjoyed the friendliness extended to me when I was in the L.A. and Florida last year and I am looking forward to my next trip to Vegas later this year!
