What's your goal?
Pretty much the same as yours!!
When I have accumulated approximately $400k I'll start living off of interest on that.
Then I'll pretty much retire from the world of work and occasionally:
1. Keep re-investing some assets here & there
2. Travel the globe and experience more exotic environments
3. Help out family & friends that are less fortunate
When goals as these are feasible, how can one stand them up?
5 years?
I hope I have another home someplace warm. In reality, I'm probably sitting naked in this same chair peddling porn (if legislation allows me to, never know what could happen in 5 years)
1. Multi- millionaire
2. 5 more commercial properties (1 per year now)
3. House that I love. This means big and somewhere cool like a lake or river.
4. Making good six figures but working less or same then I am now.
I love these threads as I haver to think about this stuff.
My older kids will be teenaged boys, so 1)Raise my them so they don't let that adolescent rebellion knock them comepletely off track.
My younger daughter will be almost 8, and she's very interested in music and dance even now at not quite 3, so
2)Get her into a really kick ass program for dance and music or singing.
My baby will be starting 1st grade, so
3) Have a flexible enough schedule to get involved in her school, since there won't be any younger kids to worry about.
Beyond my kids...
4) Clean up my credit
5) Get my house refinanced in MY name
6) Have a new, reliable car, so I can pass mine down to my son(s).
7) Have enough of a steady income that my husband can quit his job and either go to school for whatever he wants or join me.
8) Take a family vacation every six months.
My kids are the main motivator in my life, in case you didn't notice, lmao.
