which is more than I can say for a few hosts that pride themselves on representing the adult industry.
story:
One of my hosts received a DMCA notice about a love story article I have published on a website of mine.
Rather than talk to me first, or even just shut down the page that was the subject of the DMCA, my host shut the whole site down.Now this lady who issued the DMCA freely submitted her story to this website.I bought the website and have freely used the stories submitted and there have been stories submitted since I have run the site.
I countered with a counter DMCA and this should be enough you would think for the host to stand by its client.
Now I have not heard back from them and my first thought was to ask oc3networks.com but because Caz was away at the time, I approached another host to see how supportive they were.
Well fuck me.I couldn't believe it.These guys who troll the boards and suck up when it comes to sale time haven't got the balls to accept my counter DMCA and let the courts decide.They will also delete any page that has a DMCA notice on it.No matter if frivolous or not , nor whether a counter has been issued.
Fellow webmasters beware of who your real friends are.
Oc3 networks are willing to stand by me their client until this issue us resolved.
