Let Teens Have Sex
The argument of why
teenagers should be allowed to have sex.

Each time a new article has been posted on the SexEducation.com
website we receive less e-mail. "What is oral sex?" and "How do you
kiss?" were some of the more common questions in days past.

There are probably more then two reasons for this decrease, but the
top two are most likely the "answer was found" or the "answer could be
predicted".

One question though that teenagers, adults and the "website cops"
(adults and Doctors who have tested me) have not been sure about is my
position on teenage sex. The number one chat I have now, asks; "Should
teenagers be allowed to have sex?" And my answer is -YES!

Abstinence was a valuable and workable solution several decades past
but it is no longer viable in the information age. Today, where a good
percentage of advertisements have some sexual innuendo, the primary
teen message should not be "abstinence" but rather "maturity".

Why would someone, who has been bombarded with the message that money,
power and sex are the rewards of "success" want to abstain from those
rewards? They don?t, they won?t, and it is unrealistic. And it does
not matter if you are a teenager or an adult. Neither would and
neither wants to.

Although it is the same for adults, this will stay focussed on
teenagers. We tell our kids to "go to school so you can get a good job
and do the things you want to". In other words - we teach them they
need to be successful. And while we are teaching this lesson of
success, we simultaneously flood them with sex is part of success.
With success you get the "sports car and the girl".

But when a person is ready to have sex - is not about success (nor
capability), it is strictly about maturity. So the question becomes,
"When is a person sexually mature?"

It could be argued that a person should be allowed to have sex when
they are physically and mentally ready. Here is a quote from an adult
chat I had on this point.

"I believe you have allowed your knowledge of the law regarding
legal age to affect your judgment, when a persons? body is ready is
when a person should begin sexual congress if they feel ready mentally
as well."

[This adult for some reason was pretending to be a teenager. Almost

And this person is right in that "legal age" has nothing to do with
maturity. There are many wives and husbands of age 30-40 & 50 years of
age who are sexually immature. For example; women who will not use a
tampon for menstrual flow because it is "gross to touch themselves"
and men who think that if they can just "penetrate her harder and
faster - with a bigger penis" that she will have a better orgasm.

Quite simply - age alone does not determine maturity. You are not
immature the day before you are 18 and then instantly mature the day
you are. Therefore, although age may be directly related to mental
maturity it stands to reason, that there are some teenagers of age 16,
that are mentally mature enough for sex. And without a doubt - there
are - SOME teens mentally mature enough.

With regards to the "law" this chat statement from a 15 year old girl
is also valid

"you adults made those laws to stop us teenagers from having sex -
something we enjoy"

Yes - adults made those laws - and yes - they are designed to stop
teenagers from having sex. Yes - sex should be enjoyable.

And just to be politically correct - like I always am [smirk] this
chat statement from a teenage boy is also correct;

"if my penis is working why can?t I use it for sex. if it is there it
will be used"


And this boy is absolutely right - if it is there it will probably get
used.

The arguments from teenage girls tend to be the most demanding of me,
however adults have presented some strong and valid points as to why
teenagers should have sex as well.

"In Biblical times it was not uncommon for teenage girls to get
married and begin having families at age 14 and 15. In many parts of
the world even today 15 year old girls are often married to men three
times their age. Not only should teenagers be allowed to have sex, but
adults should be allowed to have sex with them as well."

[This chat was from a pedophile I suspect. This statement was not the
only argument he made about adults and teens. I got the feeling it was
a young man in his early 20?s having sex with a minor and looking for
confirmation from me that it was okay.]


Yes - teenage girls of past and present are having families . In fact,
in the United States 4 out of 10 teenage girls get pregnant before age
20.

All these points from both teenage girls and boys, adults, pedophiles,
Doctors and Lawyers have some truth. But just because they have some
truth does not mean they are the WHOLE truth. To often, whether you
are an adult, or a teenager, what immature people do is take a partial
truth to justify what they truly know to be wrong. Or they take an
exception to the case and say, "see - here is an example that does not
fit your argument - you are wrong."

Just because 1 in 1000 people have an alcohol immunity and can drink 5
times the amount as a regular person does not mean we should change
the drunk driving laws. Now does it? That just does not make sense
considering the deaths that would be caused by repealing the laws. So
because 1 in 1000 teenagers could be considered mentally mature - that
is not a valid argument.

And because it has happened in the past is not a valid argument for
continuing it now. Millions of Jews were killed in World War II -
should we do that again ? That is stupid too. What happened two
thousands years ago with marriage and 15 year old girls is not a valid
argument for today. There is war today as well, just like there are 15
years old girls being married off by their fathers. It is still wrong
today as it was then.

"I have a penis - I am going to use it" is like "I have a gun - I am
going to kill someone". It is stupid and immature.

Still though, teenagers should be allowed to have sex. Masturbation is
SEX! Most adults whether they are married or not - masturbate. In
fact, study after study, show that "adults" in healthy monogomous
relationships - masturbate more often then teenagers!! The time has
come to end the "masturbation giggling". Not only should teenagers be
allowed to have masturbation sex - there is no possible way to stop
it, is natural, and helps with sexual maturity.

However, no teenager is capable of making a PARTNER SEX decision until
they have finished puberty. NONE. On a world wide basis - not a single
adolescent. The reason for this is the body's strongest chemical -
hormones.

There are many-many examples of the strength of hormones and their
effect on decision making. Premenstrual Syndrome(PMS) in adult women
and menopause in both adult males and females. The fact that women get
"horny" during certain times of their cycle is a result that hormones
exist and they affect thinking & emotions. Many women get very
emotional during pregnancy because of hormones. That is life. That is
the way God made it. And these are all adult examples of how adults
get affected by hormones. Hormones are EXTREMELY powerful, and it is
well documented on how they affect thinking.

However, the strongest surge of hormones for EVERYONE occurs when your
body changes from a child into an adult. That stage is called
adolescence - puberty - or sometimes - the "tough years".

A teenager is neither a child nor an adult but may have sexual urges
stronger then most adults. Masturbation SEX for teenage hormonal
tension is a perfect sexual release.

However, a teenager can not make a proper decision, regardless of
whether they are more informed about sex then a Doctor, because they
can not trust their own thinking. And this mistrust of their own
thinking has nothing to do with being an adult. It has solely to do
with the fact their body is being flooded with hormones. An adult
under the same conditions must also ask whether they can trust their
own decisions.

Adult women with PMS must ask whether their anger is real or hormonal
and menopausal men whether their behavior is rational or irrational.
This questioning of "thinking" is something ALL adults must do when
they reach certain biological stages. And if the "adult" does not
question their own thinking, then they may be considered as acting
immature.

It is not a teen versus being an adult issue - it is simply a
biological stage.

Many religions actually have a pretty good way of explaining it. The
concept goes like this - "If you are in a dream standing by a cliff,
and a bear is charging at you - should you jump off the cliff or let
the bear approach?" The answer is - "you can not answer the question
from the context of the question." In other words, you can not answer
the question until you awaken from the dream. You can not properly
assess the risk to jump or face the bear until you are NOT DREAMING.

And a person can argue using perfect logic, the highest intellectual
rationalizations, statistics and historical examples. But the fact is
- noone - of any age - can make a risk decision while they are
dreaming.

Therefore, no teenager can properly assess the risks of partner sex
until they are finished puberty and have "awakened" from their
hormonal changes. Masturbation is SEX and therefore abstinence is not
relevant.

Please wait until your hormones are done changing your body, before
making the decision to have partner sex. Being an adult has nothing to
do with the amount of pubic hair you have. It is totally to do with
whether you can make proper decisions or not.

A mature person, regardless of age, recognizes when their thinking is
being influenced by something. That is maturity.

What proof do any of you people have that SexEd is a pedophile? I have been seeing posts claiming this probably for months if not a year or so. I have seen one post...if I remember correctly...that claimed he had a pic...if I remember correctly a single pic...that was claimed by some to be CP. I never saw the pic...so I do not know if it was CP or not...and SexEd claimed that it was for illustration only...whether it was CP or not. This is the only "proof" that I have seen offered up that SexEd is a pedophile...though if I remember correctly their are claims that he has been reported to Canadian Law enforcement...the FBI and I think someone claimed to Interpol. Many of the claims were made months ago if not a year or more ago. SexEd to my knowledge has never been arrested...let alone convicted of anything...and his site has been up...apparently for years.
