    Some noob questions regarding traffic and banner ads

    couple of questions for you experianced folk. The site related to these questions is a link style TGP:

    1) I am looking to purchase some traffic, but am on a limited budget. I'm looking to spend anywhere from $50 - $100. How much traffic can I expect to buy with this kind of money? What sites are some of your favorites for buying traffic? Should I wait until I can spend a little more, or does every little bit help?

    2) As far as banner ads are concerned, do you generally put Pay Per Click, or Pay Per Sign-up? Is there a program that you know of that does both?

    Any advice you can give is appreciated.
    SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

      Hi,

      Buying a little bit of traffic won't help you a lot unless you have some trades set up, then use that traffic to build more traffic.

      When I started in this business, I was all about pay per click sales and per signup. If I knew then what I know now, I would have gone with revshare from the start. I do still have a few pay per signup sponsors that I send to, but that's because they're solid converters and I have figured out what works with them.

      Not everything works for everyone. I couldn't sell babes, tits, teens or pornstars to save my ass, and although I'm 100% straight, gay is the best converting thing I've ever had, along with some of the more extreme stuff.

      What I'm saying is that you need to find what works for YOU and build on it.

      IMO, I would stay away from exit sponsors and also PPC in general and esp one that's promoted on this board. A lot of traffic crosses my servers and I can't even get a support e-mail from them, neither can a lot of other people.

          Damn that's a load of BS

          PPC is great on feeders.

          The only thing I agree with is not to buy traffic when styarting out. Ya have to be experienced to be able to cash out on that.
