google adsense vs overture program for publishers?

Everyone knows Google Adsense but overture has a similar program, I think f.e warningpages.com are using it.

I am wonderign where in general the particular keywords are more expensive, I mean mainstream keywords?

Well, I mean, terms like mortgage - are they priced similar on google and Overture ? ( overtuse shows the maximum adversiser bids, Google doesnt, so i cant check by myself ).

One more thing, In overture it may happen, that the number 1 adversiser for f.e "mortgage" pays $4.00 per click and the number 2 adversiser only $2.89 ( the first one simply doesnt monitor his campaigns carefully )

and in google they charge you often only slightly more than the second guy, so f.e you precize maxmimum bid like $4.00, but when adversiser number 2 pays $2.9 max for this keyword, you wont be paying more than $3.00 from what i know

so is the Google program worse for publishers ( who get paid a percentage of adversisers bids, so the more the advertiser spends, the more the publisher makes ) and is the overture program only for big typs in domain owners, or also for "anyone" ?

i hope i didnt make it too complicated, i am tired now
    I don't use ICQ anymore.

I don't think you will get a definative answer. You really need to try both out and see what works for the paticular site/domain.

One thing im pretty sure of is Overture wants to make sure you have traffic, atleast they did.

Overture's program requires some really high volume requirements like 1 MM searches per month or so. If you can do that, by all means try both. Chances are most people can't and have to work with a distributor of Overture's network.

The low volume per click payment means nothing at Adwords. With high traffic sites you'll get way less money per click.

If you need another low requirements PPC SE sponsor try Umax.

It varies really, there are huge differences for some keywords at both Google and Overture... there is no "general" answer. I believe WG is right, you need like a minimum of 1 million searches a month (if not more).
