                  the wall is the best place

                                              i guess alot depends on how the area where you want to put that tv looks like

                                              if i'd hang my tv on the wall, only half of the people on the couch can see it from a good angle

                                                          Make sure you find a couple good studs for the wall.
                                                          50" is about the biggest size that I was recommend to put a plasma on the wall.
