I've been running SP2 on 2 of my computers for 3 days now. It seems very stable, and so far the only compatibility issue is with Nero.

Juicy, I don't think you have anything to worry about with this update. It is nothing but good patches and will not harm any of the precious programs you use. There will not be a 2.1 patch out anytime soon... this is all you are going to get.
If you have pirated copies, however, you *may* get locked out of the OS

I like how people get scared like you guys actually use some 1980's IBM banking software that is going to malfunction when you install SP2. There are just too many variables for MS to try to achieve 100% success rate with a deployment this big...
The main reason to drag your feet on the install is two fold:
1. The more ppl that install and relate thier story.
2. There are only sooo many support channels, the sheep will be installing it first because of promised security measures. So they in turn will be sucking the life out of existing support channels.
there's nothing in this Service pack that'll print money, so ...unless you HAVE to install it for some reason, I would wait til the hubub dies off a bit.
