I just got hacked while playing @ AdultPokerTour.com in a tournament,,,

K well im at my dads house right now and was on my laptop playing @ adultpokertour and was losing then my laptop got hacked and it wont even boot or even show a screen at all on the LCD. ill find out who it was cause shit it was only about 20 people playing. your going down bitch cause I have the resources to bring u down.

motherfucker i was playing and then it hit a blue screen with alot of bs microsoft error text then it crashed. i use fsecure as my antivirus/inet security on it to so this guy must be quite decent. .. APT my lawyer is gonna contact u guys soon for the players ips etc that played with us in this last game just a fair warning. I know u didnt do it but shit wtf i didnt even act like a jackasstongith so wtf and plus im at my dads house he just moved in here today so its a new ip so it would be rare to be random... it was a good hacker thats for sure

Most / all bioses are not silently programmable or accessible from within the OS, for obvious reasons.

I'd be interested to know what make/model of laptop you have so I can determine why it is the exception to the rule.

the laptop..i have 3 of the same kind so i switched them out easy parts and whatnot all the time before...but somehow the harddrive is corrupted that was in it before and after i put the drive in the other laptop it fried the other screen which pisses me off more cuase it wont turn on..wtf is up with that

They sound like they are up to no good, and more than likely planned this out and singled you out for an easy target.

I've repaired and built pc's since the 80's.

I currently architect and support a 7000 user nationwide computer network , and I support the hardware on over 200 servers across the country.

Your CMOS erased itself, for whatever reason. It happens from time to time, usually when the CMOS chip itself gets too hot, which is very common on laptops.

But since you "know what you're talking about" I assume you have some netstat logs you can post that will show us the IP and port connection of the hacker that somehow got you via a direct connection over a client/server poker game.

I eagerly await your connection logs.

Hopefully you're talking about yourself.

Unless the people who wrote the poker client software are absolute morons, the software would be client/server. Your client would talk to their server, and it would talk back to you. The server would update you as to the status of the other players.

There would be no way for another player to determine your IP in that regard.

Allowing peer to peer updates would also open a door for various exploits to the poker software, so I sincerely doubt it works that way. I'm just speaking from experience supporting online gambling software in Costa Rica. (both major vendors, Inet and IQL).

Since you seem to think YOU know what you're talking about, I assume you have those netstat logs handy to show me the port and IP connection of the person who hacked your machine. Anyone that knew the first thing about networking would know / have that.

Please show them now, stop being a tease.
