! -- MORE (WTF) -- !
Even if, for whatever reasons, the logic of my argument and the urgency of my conclusion has left you untouched -- consider, then -- not just the future of Adult, but the future of our race -- oh, yes -- !
It's kind of getting absorbed now as a truism that we'll never be the same for the Fundamentally Transformative Advent of the Web -- I know it, and I may read a provocative sentence in Wired every now and then, or hear one from the lips of a very young and very Net-Savvy person I have met -- but I don't really feel y'all are AWARE WHAT IS HAPPENING -- I know my brother Halcyon and Lovely tASSy know --

-- in a short while (a real short while) AIN'T NUTHIN gonna be like it was when Blue Oyster Cult was on FM -- Nothing -- ! -- And what is the direction of this change -- ? -- you may ask -- ? Oh, you
know...
THE DOOR IS OPENING WIDER AND WIDER EVERYDAY*
WE ARE ALREADY SURRENDERING MORE AND MORE OF OUR SOULS TO. . .
*(this IS a metaphor -- I am NOT insane)
Right here, right now, I would say we are are -- and I shit you not -- at one of the most important crossroads our species has yet reached. The Internet is the equivalent of a Mutation in Technology -- it arose from a linear sequence of technological evolution (and yes, I do consider Moore's Law linear by comparison to what has occurred with the Web). The lightning struck, the magic happened -- call it whatever you want, but Homo Sapiens and the Web have only JUST BEGUN their association -- and I'm not saying we're all going to be in Tron, basically, in the next few years -- that's an example of how Sci-Fi actually does reveal the future, but via metaphor -- just like all literature -- for some reason people always take Sci-Fi to literaly -- lol -- what I'm saying is this: more time online, more immersive experiences, more meat-scape social activity diverted e-ward, and a lot more dissolution of the boundaries and definitions that today are still sufficiently solid to make us take any special notice of Chio (much love--

).
It's a mass migration -- some fast, some slow, but we're all going -- and SEX is coming with us in some form or other. So, if the current plight of the Adult Biz doesn't especially trouble your sleep, then fight for the future of Human Sexuality -- it's moving online --
MUCH OF IT. How stupid, how wasteful, how --
sadly -- typical , that we should stand ready to have the wildest adventure yet, in a territory so vast, we cannot even touch its edges with
t h e o r y . . .
...yet here we are poking into the void with the canes and flashlights our grandmothers used to go down into the basment.
WE ARE, IN THIS INDUSTRY, IN THE UNIQE POSITION OF BEING BOTH THE IDEOLOGICAL STEWARDS AND DEFENDERS OF SEX (VIA LONG-USEFUL AMENDMENT #1), AND,
AND THE PEOPLE IN WHOSE HANDS RESTS THE VERY CREATION OF SEXUAL EXPERIENCE ONLINE -- SOUNDS LIKE A HUGE FUCKING DEAL TO ME --
