What to do with this domain I registered...

    emailbabe.com

Was thinking of turning it into some kind of "free" site where the registers get´s a free gallery a day or so into their email.

    Any ideas?

well it would definitely fit the part. pay per email programs arent really doing well with all the filters around. some of the users dont even get to see the Confirmation Email because it hits the Spam folder.

if any sponsors out there actually on "trust-list" of big ISPs please shoot me an email to [email protected] i bring lots of signups to such program

Dennis, you can do that, but like the other guy said, spam filters will get you before you get the gallery to the people.

Good domain name though. I bet if you don't use it, you will be able to sell it.

But does spamfilter work even with a double opt in thingie?

I mean if you tell the surfer how to work it? And I would problably send just links to galleries hosted on my site to not fuck up the surfers mailbox with 10000 pictures if he is away on holiday or so.

Do you think they would buy?

Anyone know of any good join4free scripts out there that track affiliates signups to?
Rather not spend alot of cash in the beginning on this one.

well believe it or not, there are still users out there that doesn't know that they even have a Spam folder. so even if you tell them to look inside the Spam folder for the confirmation email, it wouldn't help much if the user is clueless.

well give it a try yourself. have your script send out a test msg to one of your emails. preferably a free account such as yahoo, hotmail, etc since most of the signups u'll get is from those free accounts, i guarantee it. from there you can see what ratio you'll get of spam:inbox

Yes... I have a double-opt in list, and tons of my emails don't get thru.

Is there no other way to do it then?

I mean what makes the email count as a spam?

Maby I could give the surfer some kind of guides how to make my email come trough?

best way to go is to call ISPs and have them add your domain to their list so your emails will get through. it's a hassle though but it's well worth it if that's how you want to do business.

yes ISPs have something like a trusted list. like for example ebay emails never end up in spam folder.
