defiantly worth it... it's by far the most graphically intense game i've played to date. killer weapons, levels, and monsters too... your biggest concern should be your pc. you better have one hell of a beefy gaming machine if you want to run doom in all it's pixel glory!

It's never quite gonna beat the UT series, but its great when you play it at 2am on the T.V [S-Video out] with the speakers up full blast... BOOM.

I play Doom3 on pc... gotta say I think it rocks... but has scared the knickers off me several times.... Play alone and turn off the lights for maximum effect.... loads of mods avaiable for it aswell

Doom 3 is mediocre at best. It's hard to tell if the graphics are good or not since the game is so fucking dark. All you can see through a good portion of the game is whatever your flashlight illuminates. Multiplayer is just plain shitty.I like pie.Comment

That game is just fantastic, it's intense, scary, the graphics are just amazing!!!!!
Then 1 hour later your realise it's the same thing over and over.. The 10000th monster jumping at your from a dark corner isn't scary anymore..
