    FRIDAY WAS PET DAY-pics inside

    Apparently, bringing your pet into work increases productivity so I hear, so the "higher ups" here decided it was alright for us to bring in our pets on friday. I have to Chihuahuas, and Slickcash Mario has a 2 year old Rottweiler named Russell. Well, Russell is the calmest, and cutest Rottweiler that I have laid eyes on, but my two doggies are the most vicious and hyper dogs ever. I was worried that if I brought my dogs in, they would ATTACK Russell, so I kept them at home for HIS saftey..hahaha. Here are a few pics of him lingering around the office.

              Haha, someone brought their dog into my office at one of my old jobs and I was the only that used to walk it and it ended up biting my leg and arm and ripping a hole in my sweatshirt. That did not increase my productivity for the day.

                          hahahahaha..Russell is the calmest Rottweiler I have ever met.He just sniffs you, and lays down to nap.He is lazy, but he has the best personality.

                                      Yeah my cats used to lay on my monitor or in front of my keyboard when I worked at home.

                                      Beautiful puppy, bet he's a big baby.... and think he's a lap dog.... while Sarah's micro dogs think they are big attack dogs.... always the way ---- the smaller the dog the more attitude he has... could same thing be said for webmasters?

                                                      I don't see how it can improve productivity thought ... pets take time and a lot of attention . A lot less work will be done ...

                                                          I think it has something to do with raising the employee morale, in turn, making them happier and more productive. Russell just sleeps all day anyway..lol.

                                                                                  Your really have to take the time now when he's a puppy to train and socialize him - it definately pays off in the end. The more time you put in now when they are young - the less "taking care of them" you have to do when they are older.

                                                                                      Our office is pretty good about bringing pets in occasionally. During the summer we only work a half day on Friday so every couple of weeks I bring in one of my Chihuahuas. It is great to have him there and I find that I personally get more done because I am content (he spends the entire time in my lap)

                                                                                                                  alot of offices are doing this now - I think it gives the office more of a "being at home" type feeling - which is great- it's more comfortable
