Oracle porn, even though these new proposed regulations may pass, there is still a good chance they will be amended and or changed again before the deadline. If they are altered in anyway we are looking at another 30 day comment period and another 30 day grace compliance period.
We all know the 2257 will be changed, yet trying to second guess what the outcome would officially be is not a wise move.
If you are replacing content or looking for new providers it would be the best bet to hold off until we all know what is officiall.

We supply a picture of the model holding two Goverment issued IDs, usually a Passport and National ID, next to her face on EVERY set.

We supply a model release with a matching signature.

Some of us have been 2257 compliant since the 80s. I spoke to a few magazines and they said we do not need to make any changes to our documents system. Only small people like Hustler, Score and P.R.O. all companies with their own lawyers. So I think we are going to be in the clear.

yea exactly I don't see why this is such a big deal to people, I will admit I was a little worried about it when I first started reading the threads.

But all in all not much will change for people that follow the original 2257 law as far as the records go. I know I've never bought content before that the content provider didn't give me a photo ID and the model release. The only content I've ever gotten with out models Id's is sponsor provided which will soon have to change.

The only things that will affect me on this new law is submitted galleries and their thumbnails which are on my server, but it's not hard to work around that for me at least.

We took all of our photo sets about six months ago and moved them off of xamo.com onto ezsets.com - the idea was to put the model id and release (blacked out for privacy reasons) into every set, along with the 2257 info. then we started picking up new photographers and requiring that they give us the model id / release / 2257 info if they want us to sell their photos ezsets officially launched a couple weeks ago, now that we've built up enough new photo sets that fit our strict requirements

it was interesting how many foreign photographers wanted to use us for an outlet but didn't have all the proper ids, many of them just had amazing content but only a signed release and no photo id

I can not see what the big deal is either, ok was a pain in the arse putting the mr's & id's in all the sets, so now you get them even if you don't want them !

SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

I disagree. Yes, the final regulations may very slightly but they are pretty much common sense as far as a content producer is concerned. If the producer is covering his ass correctly then they are already compliant with the new regs.
