    I have a better idea. Tell you wife that you agree with the procedure if she agrees to be present.

    Let see how she handles it when you baby starts to scream, like you never heard before. The little baby's face will turn red and then almost blue while shaking his little arms and legs in state of shock. He will then loose his breath for what is seems hours and will not stop crying and shaking sometimes for hours after the procedure has finished.

    Lets see how she handles that:

                            Gazool, it's not that bad. I have been to many Bris's (Jewish Faith) where they do this procedure in the home with a guy called a Mohl who usually is a Doctor. It's very quick and the baby is fine

                                                                                                                I'd rather stick with science and nature, than my personal feelings on this. Science has documented in study after study that cirumcision is not good.

You can walk into any university and pick up a copy of these established world renouned journals yourself. It will dispell the myths and give you the facts.

It's a very serious belief system for many. I think ironically you would find yourself being bashed incessantly by your religious contemporaries for claiming to be religious while working in the porn industry.                                                                                                                                     However, as a person trained to think rationally, I believe that it is much more likely that an intelligent being created the Universe and life, as opposed to pure blind chance.

The hygiene argument is useless because it takes mere seconds to pull back the foreskin and rinse one's penis clean. Anyone who doesn't take them time to do that probably doesn't deserve to have a penis.

Even so, i can't use the bible to justify circumcision. When i have a son, there is no way i am going to inflict pain on him or take away a useful part of his body for any fucking god.                                                                                                                                                 Circumcision was a covenant between God and the Jews. Christians are not bound by this covenant so it's up to them what they want to do. If you're a religious Jew, on the other hand, I believe it is still required.

                                                                                                                                                I would do it because of the health benefits long term and because of the socal factors (we live in a circumcised society). The pain to the child is minimal and the procedure doesn't last very long at all.

                                                                                                                                                I think it is wrong for anyone to criticize a parent for making whatever choice they feel is in the best interest of their child.

The vast majority of people who are getting their kids circumcised probably aren't aware of all the facts.

                                                                                                                                                        Social factors? Only 60 percent of new born american males are now circumcised. So come locker room time for little timmy in 15 years, almost half of the other guys would be uncircumcised too. Can't imagine that being very embarrassing at all.

                                                                                                                                                        Look at the long list of benefits of being uncut and compare them to the small number of superficial benefits of being circumcised. You are removing a part of the body that serves a purpose. If you believe in god, then surely you also believe he put the foreskin there for a reason. I doubt he put it there just so it would just as quickly be removed. Cleaning it is next to no effort at all. All the data collected about things such as cancer and STDs has long since been dismissed as unreliable. Look at the long term health benefits and even sexual benefits of keeping the foreskin!

When my son was born 13 years ago and it was a difficult delivery, we decided not to put him throught the unnecessarypain of circumcision.
