Yeah, bartending tips tend to get you better service, 'tis true. That's a little self-serving though ;)
When I go to vegas, I'm always generous to the drink girls, often put the dealer in the game (at the tables) and so on. Every other 'nuck I've been with in similar situ's does the same.
I couldn't care less if we have that rep 'cuz it's one that's easily busted and, better yet, if we're the 'generous canadian' it can be beneficial. I'm just curious as to where the myth sources from. Maybe USians travelling overseas while flying the leaf? Maybe poor college kids backpacking across wherever?
