I've always wondered why that 'nucks are bad tippers' stereotype keeps circulating... everyone I know tips 15% when we go out. Hell, sometimes the wife'll tip 15% even with the service sucks ass and the wait staff deserves maybe 2 cents as a 'protest tip'.
... and when I was having a convo with a cabbie in jamaica last time I was there, he told me that americans and germans were the worst tippers.
