Americans in general are trained early on that "thin is in" and that "overweight = disgusting." What we aren't taught is that the human body isn't made to be one size fits all. Some of us are built to be tiny, some of us are built to be large, and yes, even those of us who are fat can be healthy.
Most of the time, when we aren't seen as perfect, we simply aren't acceptable. Now this goes for men, too. Lots of times, we're not seen as people.
Now I'm a big girl, and yes I can stand to lose some weight. But I'm built on a large frame, and if I lose so much weight as to weigh what most people would think of as normal, I'd be too thin and would look horrible.
What needs more realization, IMHO, is that no matter what shape, size, age, or ethnicity, we are all human beings, and as such, are all sexual beings. All of us need love, homes, health, and a good fuck.
