you charge per thousand view something like 5-6$ but that good for banners
you should charge per click for text link

He's asking how much he should charge for a site he already knows traffic on. For example he gets 10,000 page views per month, what is a ballpark rate to charge for a link there.

at 1% clickthru it's 3$ per click

you can do views. use about a 3-7% CTR and set a price. The easiest way to get a good price for both parties is to put your own banners up and see how they do. Then charge a slight premium. This will allow people who know what they are doing to make money and you will get repeat customers. Also you will get the premium price for your traffic. Fair all around.
