There is a simple and obvious solution
get a anti-password trading script such as Pennywize or Iprotect.
This is the way that I understand it, and keep in mind that i am not very technical:
Once the same user/pass is submitted to a server from over a set number of IP Masks(similar to IPs), i think the default is 20, then that user/pass is disabled for 24 hours.
This is something that everybody needs, helps your bandwidth bill and your hosting companies
when it first came out a few years ago and we put it on our servers, the difference was amazing. I would look at an MRTG graph a month or two after the script was installed and the improvement was obvious.
Of course, there are also people that use password trading to their advantage...they submit a user/pass to a site and set the link to go to a different members area, something low bandwidth and trying to sell to the freeloader
