    Redrob is full of shit

    Redrob has done nothing to further the endeavors of todays webmasters. If we serve by example, he is guiding everyone to end their carrer by redirecting all their web sites to a 404 or under construction.

    Before midnight, why not put up a page with a "Temporarily out of Service"

    His fear tactics and even his "location" in his sig ressemble the bush administrations agenda.

    Are these the people we really want on our side during the fight for free speech?

    In fact almost 100 domains all repointed to his lame ass single page with no income or hits.

                                                  As you can see from the post above, I have operated online toy stores, 100+ domains adult domains, successful videostore rental chain, successful newsstand chain, and a few adult bookstores in my day. I started by selling 8MM films out of the trunk of a car.

                                                  I closed the websites when I felt there was a chance they might not be compliant with the existing 2257 Regs as I read them. I did not like the attitude of Ashcroft's DOJ and made a business decision to take them down until I was absolutely positive (110%) compliant. I hated to take them down; but, this is Texas and I am a realist. I hope that after the shit settles down I can bring them back again.

                                                  I am currently serving on the Adult Advisory Committee of the Video Software Dealers Association(VSDA); the Anti-Censorship Committee of the Periodical and Bookseller Association (PBAA) of America; the First Amendment Coalition of Texas (FACT); and the national board of the Free Speech Coaliton.

                                                  When the FSC wanted to hire a national lobbiest, I gave them $5,000 for his first month's pay and didn't blink. Not many people here have done more.

                                                      Well that's all I needed to know. It seems you were playing with a guy in another thread after he asked questions about his membership. If you are going to post here on behalf of the FSC , right now everyone is tense and ready to jump on anyone, especially a FSC board member. Myself included. Fuck I was one of the first to try to bring the fsc to everyones attention. I have spent hours on the phones with big players getting them to pony up the money and not once have I asked for any special favors. Until yesterday. I simply wanted to know if a few guys I paid for their memberships made it in and If I myself made it in. Instead of being shown appreciation for my efforts I was ignored. and Tom has STILL NOT RETURNED my call. I put weight on people to pony up the money, spend countless hours trying to rally support for the FSC, spend even more time trying to appease the FSC bashers and and this is how I am treated?

                                                          Tom has been out of town this week covering the 2257 Denver hearing. After the news of the agreement broke, he has not had a single free moment and won't until tomorrow evening.

                                                          As the Communications Director of FSC, he is being hounded by the media whores wanting interviews, opinions, statements, press releases, etc. Poor guy!

                                                          If have your fax comfirmation, I believe you will be covered. We are working as hard as we can to accept everyone's paperwork. We will send out confirmations starting next week. Tomorrow, our lines will be even busier........smokin'!

                                                                  Question for the people joining/donating joining the FSC, yesterday, today or tomorrow are they covered? Seems like you are unsure: "I believe you will be covered" with that statement. So I will say it SEEMS that FSC is getting a lot of money but is their paper work in order to protect the webmaster?
