    Rafting on a class IV river, in a tropical storm

    Sounds like a great idea to me......hopefully I'll make it back for Internext


    Seriously though I want to attempt the Class IV section of a river out here, thats over 20 miles long. Tropical storms this time of year can easily push that to a class V river though (highest level is VI for those not in the know).

    Unfortunately I doubt pics will be possible in this one heh....

              Long and violent rapids. Large waves that are unavoidable and irregular. Extremely difficult and complex course. Scouting is essential.

              Class VI
              Maximum difficulty. Nearly impossible and extremely dangerous. Class V carried to the limit of navigability. Involves risk of life.

                  One river has a 7 metre drop on one of the rapids it hits.....that would be fun tubing hehe
