The 'Do you trust the government?' thread got me thinking. We are always so paranoid about the government and 'big brother' but does anyone ever stop and think about the information about us and the control private enterprise (especially large corprorations) have?

So do you trust private enterprise? Why are they any less of a threat to our liberty than government? At least we can elect and/or throw out governments.
