For those that do not know me, my name is Tony Morgan and I own NationalNet. While 2257 does not DIRECTLY affect a web host like me, it is very important for the industry so I would like to offer some assistance over the next 48 hours in accepting new members into the FSC. I have read today in numerous threads on the boards that people are having trouble getting through to join the FSC. I totally understand that you could have *never* anticipated such a large increase in sign up volume so this problem was completely unavoidable. I, however, have a 24 Hour Staff and enough phones to help receive new memership sign ups and would like to donate that to you. We would not be able to answer many questions, of course, but we could take down membership information, run credit cards, or any number of other things to allow you to concentrate on more important issues. If you would like for me to put out the word that people seeking to join can call us, then I will go public with it and I am sure that I could get all of the major webmaster boards and lists to do a mailing tomorrow, as well.
