Anyone else in the BAR\NIGHTCLUB\DJ business?

i'm looking for other people that are crossover business men and women.

i have been in the nightclub/dj/promoter/music whatever business for 10 years +

would be nice to get to know some of you peeps.

i was in the adult biz about 3 years back and used to go to all the shows and stuff. some people may remember me, some not.

if you do remember me, say what up. if not, i want to meet more of you.

its amazing how parallel the two businesses are. music and porn.

ive dj'ed in clubs from like 13-24 and bartended a few years in between on nights i wasn't spinning. havent even stepped inside a club in a few years

Glad to hear there are others here in same industry. Before summer 2005, we're launching:

1) a DJ store in DC and Nashville.
I'm near DC, I found an investor/partner in Nashville.
2) a DJ management company.
We don't want to be a big agency, very small, tight-knit and in our niche
3) a DJ online music service/mag
Similar to "b e a t p o r t . c o m" and other dj sites/services.

And I'll be looking for partners & associates plus others to network with. Can't give out the website domains yet because I just acquired them in last 60 days and waiting to transfer over. Each one has its own site/domain and they are top-notch w/ traffic/members.

We got a lot on our plate, but I'm hungry.

i have been in the rave/club scene since I was 16, i am 30 now

Lets see, my resume

had 5 residencies in Lexington, ky...3 of them were at the same time....1 club I ended up buying out from the owner, and I turned it into the most underground club lexington ever saw...it was dope what I did to that place.

had 1 residency in Nashville at the music city mix factory, when it first opened

I used to throw underground raves in Nashville, the biggest being Bobby's World, which had 2000 people...it was totally illegal too, no permit, no insurance and all cash money....ROFL

I have dj'ed everywhere from NYC to Los Angeles, i have had over 1000 bookings easy...

we prolly did meet there, i met everyone I could...i was the guy that got arrested for pissing on the ATM...i was hanging with brandon and stumpy most of the time...

i don't think I will be able to make that, i have a club gig up here that is just about to start that I can't take off from right away, cause I might fuck it up...but we will see...

if your in Atlanta again sometime, hit me up, would love to show ya around to some nice underground places

We run a local promotion company but can also promote nation wide without a problem.
We have a few things that are bringing in 50%+ return per night. If anyone is interested message me. Clubs - Bars - Anything with moderatly high traffic. If you have a lot of business on friday / saturday but low traffic during the weekends we can get your place packed on week days without a problem.

Right on. Most of ATL was a blur. hehe. My GF was the one getting spanked in the Westin Lobby Saturday night as Hans was doing his show.
