the reason why I brought up icerocket.com is because they were considered an also-ran until Mark Cuban attached his name to it. So it looks like they're here to stay. and I believe KPCB(vc) is looking at them too. Everything Cuban touches turns to gold. He's the one that sold broadcast.com to yahoo for billion+ $. He's also the one doing the reality copycat show of Trump called "The Benefactor" except that he's got money and Trump is broke. And owning the NBA Dallas Mavericks can't hurt either. his blog is at:

We present many business concepts to investors/vc while the startups remain "In Stealth Mode". If the vc's don't bite, then we put it on the backburner and let it incubate on the web, generating traffic/members and then re-introduce the concept to VCs again.
