    Need advice: Got Robbed

    Long story short.

    my gf was over this morning after I got locked out of my house til 5am, she saw me take off my watch and leave it on the kitchen table, she saw the watch when she took my dog for a walk. So, I was asleep after this, and my friend who is hurting for cash shows up to my house, Basically hops my gate and breaks in through the sliding door. He announced his pressence and I was fucking pissed because I don't go into peoples houses unless they let me in and I was tired etc.

    So, I yell from upstairs to get the fuck out and fuck you etc. I walk over to my pc after I woke up and there's an IM basically saying fuck you, you're such an asshole etc.

    I felt bad for being rude, I call him tonight, he comes over and Im like "hey, you gotta check out this watch." I go look for it where it was and its gone. I looked all over my house even though I have a photographic memory and saw the thing before I went to bed, knew exactly where I left it. I confronted him, he denied it, was helping me look for it.

    So, what to do? He was acting kind of guilty. btw no way it was my gf because she picked it out, we've been essentially dating for 8 yrs.

                  Im having someone check out all the local pawn shops. Im not a vengeful person. I have been extremely generous with this friend. I can accept getting ripped off as a bad decision, but this is more personal.

When my place got robbed they stole my laptop, 2 cell phones, 2 cameras, (prescription meds???) and a checkbook they wrote about $20k of checks on (I caught the first one I shut down the acccount but he/she/they continued to write them.)
