Paysite Content Question - Niche Content Amount

How many photos and movies should you even consider before launching something exclusive?

Images and movies, niche, all exclusive, shot yourself etc?

I have heard very varying opinions on this but figured it would be worth a shot on here as well.

whats your opinion on this?

I am not talking about another facial fiesta bang.com or anything like that.

quality niche photography, some not even nude or sexual at all.

Not counting non exclusive filler.
Video: 10-20 episodes or 15+ minute scenes.
Pictures: At least 30-60 pictures per set with 1 set per video minimum.

Assuming your in the 20.00 to 25.00 range and that you will be providing weekly updates of at least 1 video/set.
I also would plan to have 2 months of updates already set aside.

youd be suprised how many sites dont have this though

I reviewed a bunch earlier this year and the vast majority that claimed to be fetish or anything niche other than teen barely had any content to fit the claimed theme.

If you're not planning on having affiliates, and you have the traffic, just go ahead and slap a few picture sets up and start promoting it.

I started with only two picture sets and no video...Now there's gotta be around 140-150 girls in there with 25 video episodes. Your recurring might be bad at first but if you religiously add content, it will get better.

If you know a niche and can fill it reliably, you'll make it. It's a lot easier being a small fry with a small niche site. A lot of the shit doesn't affect you as much and a lot of other bigger people will be going down in flames before they even bother fucking around with me.

If it's a really specific mirco-niche site and is unique (i.e., it has few, if an, competitors), you don't need that much at all. You can get away with as little as 5,000 pics (10,00 would be better), assuming you update often. If iit's a site that is niche-specific but less unique, 15,000 to start would do it. A general niche site, probably 25,000. A general non-niche site or a teen site, 50,000 minimum. I believe strongly that quantity is overrated. Quality matters MUCH more, IMHO.

I'd shoot twenty girls and launch with ten. This seems like a low number unless it's gonna be a niche that can be produced right and with the surfer in mind. The mature niche isn't oversaturated and has many possibilities.

i think its not enough.. i have paysites with 100+ exclusive/semi-exclusive videos and i still get people like "20 bucks for only 100 movies?" bla bla bla...

exactly and it wasn't until I saw the insides of these sites that I *knew* I could do a better job on the real fetishes/micro-niches. If I am going to spend the energy researching these niches (which I have) then I'll be buggered if I am going to send that hard earned traffic to someone who doesn't even really give them what they want inside. I am planning on going the honest path and talking to my surfers and telling them exactly what I am offering them inside. I am not going for filler content either because THEY DON'T WANT IT. A guy with a fetish wants to see pics of that fetish. He could care less how many thousands of unrealted pics I have. It has worked for me in the AVS game and whilist I know this is a BIG step up I am fairly sure I know these surfers better than most on the 'net. So, exclusive and quality that directly addresses the theme of the site...that is the way to go in my view.

We do alot for people and most all seem to set there orders on the opening of the site from 15 to 25 from us ,
one of the big boys here just did a new all asian site and they did the same , as well as when we do our own sites we start it the same and have 4 to 8 sets ready for 1 or 2 up dates a week sitting and waiting

I agree with boobmaster. Quality is much better than quantity. We started out with 10 sets and no video, but that was 6 years ago before the boom of highspeed. Now we post 150 - 200 pics per shoot minimum and 30 minutes of video per shoot, and we update each site weekly.

One of the thinks I've learned about shooting an exclusive site, is that customers aren't ignorant. If you say a model is exclusive they will let you know for sure. Make sure you give them what you tell them your going to.

Just as others here have said , if its a micro niche you could start a site with as few as 3 thousand exclusive pics and probably an hour of video. You will need to check out similar sites and see what they are offering. A site that I opened a while back was an
exception to all the rules of content quantity and quality Since it was a micro niche it did great, I think we had only about 450 pics and about an hour of video. The customers were delighted as it was a real specialty site.
