If i am pushing a sponsor for a % and I find they have upsells its BYE BYE time!

Upsells are great if not abused like many sponsors do...

Well up site sells work great if you have the right kind of sites in the member area. I understand how it can piss affiliates off - unless the sponsor uses a cross site linking code ... which is what we are in the process of doing

We have 0 upsales at dieselaction. No upsale is worth the recurring money our members areas generate.

I guess when you're an affiliate, there is no advantage to having a sponsor upsell other paysites in their members area. In fact, the upsell only serves as a traffic leak.

Okay, so what about from a paysite owners point of view. Is there more money to be made by employing upsells, or will that only encourage members to cancel their membership with your site and rebill with the sites you're upselling? Or will the member keep their membership with your site and the other site you're upselling? Experiences anyone?
