Live Cam Models

I shall be using ifriends as an example here and the did release a policy saying they will never share ids and so on.

This has nothing to do with running the site, and nothing to do with promoting it. Works the same for any live cam site though as far as the question.

Naturally the site has put out an offical notice that will calm the performers, "no sharing, blah blah blah". They have the records in the event they are checked up on so they are safe. Affiliates will need to use softcore non explicit material, covered.

Now would not the performers be considered at very least primary producers since obviously they are not actual employee's of such a company?
If that is the case would they not also need to disclose their info like any primary producer would, even if a secondary producer (ifriends in this instance) is displaying the material?
Are the performers being placed into a false sense of security while actually going afoul of the law?
Sure is seems the Cam sites are protecting their asses but whats the truth of this all?

Opinions anyone?
