Exactly... the only people who think that he shouldn't have some kind of "punishment" enforced on him are the type of people who get drunk and hope that they can get away with it by sobering up and saying sorry.
There is no excuse... if you act this way when drunk, don't get drunk.
If you do, then you must be held accountable for your actions.
