Pike Street here in Downtown Long Beach, CA has free high speed wireless access all along the street so that you can go to any of the restaurants or cafe's and get online for free...Comment

Not that I'm aware of, you can surf wherever you want and these are run by volunteers that actually pay themself for the server and hi-speed internet connection for us to use freely. Besides, why would someone want do illegal stuff in public places?Originally posted by iwantchixxComment

There's actually ton's of places in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas. Probably around half the major hotels in the area (100s!!!), the airports, 90% of public libraries, and growing. A lot of restaurants, coffee shops and clubs are getting into the action as well.
