weird question: Anyone ever heard of FROZEN SHOULDER?

Its a condition that happens in the shoulder after an injury.

After a bad injury to a shoulder...and weeks or months of not using it...

    "Frozen Shoulder" can occur...

    Anyone heard of this?
    Or have it happen?

Yeah, it's not just to the shoulder though. Isn't it to do with the muscles in general, if you cork your arm, etc really badly the muscles go into spasm and you are unable to move it in certain ways or past a certain point. If you don't do anything about it or force movement on the muscles (even if it hurts) eventually they lock in that position. I think if they do lock in the position it generally lasts for a year or two like that. That's what you mean isn't it? I almost had it happen to me when I was younger, doctors didn't immediately know the problem, they thought it was a dislocation somehow, and by the time I went to muscle specialist he said if I had left it much longer it would of stuck there. Needless to say, I went home and forced movement on my arm like there was no tomorrow. It hurt like hell, but it took only a day or two to get the muscles back to normal.
