Help like if they have family troubles keeping them awake arguing all night, offer advice. Offer up some phone numbers for counseling. Call Dr. Phil and get them on the show.

Could also be a medical reason, possibly covered by insurance. Make use of it.
Most sleep aids aren't addictive.
Two nights ago I was tired at 10:30 but couldnt sleep until 5am.. really sucks sometimes..

I was caught sleeping when I worked at ibm numerous times, I didn't give a crap. I actually went under my desk once and took a nap.... No one even noticed until I woke up.
