Hunting a Puma in The Netherlands

interesting, I thought Holland is so small that a Puma cannot hide anywhere there :-)

We have one here too. Escaped from someone having it, I guess, as a pet. It has been running around the mountains for quite a while killing deer and sheep for food.

It is proberly a Puma that escaped a few YEARS!!! ago out of Belgium. Meaning the Puma survived a few years already in our nature...

There's quite a few around the U.K.. a few got released into the wild in the late 70's when the UK changed their laws and i became illegal to own them as pets. The original ones have died out, but there was enough of them so they bred.. People get mauled every so often.

You guys make it sound like its bad to have these animals out in the wild where they belong

Maybe you should get them to clear cut the forest, they'll get rid of the puma for sure.
