    How long does it take for a UPS Tracking Number to activate?

    My UPS Tracking Number still isn't working.

    I was wondering how often UPS updates their database.

          If you mail something today....it should show up sometime tomorrow.

                      they update every hour like dhl and fedex, as soon as the parcel is scanned its online within an hour.

                          The first time the package get scanned by the system it should be working if not before then when they issue the number.

                              it should definitely be in the system by the evening of the day of shipment...

                                  It has taken almost 2 days to show up for me a couple of times. Sometimes it shows up, but it just says "Billing Information Received" for a day or so, then it shows up. It's kind of wonky, sometimes.

                                      Its pretty quick.. like when you mail it and they scan it, it should be shortly afterwards online.
